The Personal Me
Dan has traveled extensively throughout North and South America, Europe and the Middle East, learning about different cultures and trying new activities whenever possible. When he’s not working or trekking across remote areas of the planet, he can be found attending concerts and listening to live music, reading or simply enjoying some rare down time with his wife and kids.
He’s also an amateur magician, a hobby he’s enjoyed his entire life, and a Green Belt in Krav Maga (Israeli self-defense) where he’s actively working his way up the ranks to eventually earn his Black Belt. He still finds time to play softball for an adult co-ed league and to keep up with his beloved Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, Phillies and Sixers in addition to Cleveland’s Cavaliers and Indians.
Little known fact: While in college, Dan wrote a novel based on his travels across the United States—but it wasn’t his debut as an author. At age 10 he wrote, illustrated, and bound a children’s book titled The Dog Actor.
