The Personal Me
THE PERSONAL ME
Mike was born in Chula Vista, California where his father, a U.S. Navy veteran, was stationed. He grew up in Ohio, where both of his parents were born and raised, before taking a detour south to attend the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Following graduation, he had the opportunity to live and work in various locations over the course of his career, including Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Sioux City, Iowa; Columbus, Ohio; Memphis, Tennessee and Chicago, Illinois. While he's still a big Crimson Tide fan, the loyal Guardians, Browns, and Cavaliers fan can think of no better place to live than Cleveland—with one possible exception. Mike would love to travel to Italy with his family and maybe even live there for a period of time.
With two growing boys at home—and a 15-year-old Labradoodle named Ellie—Mike and his wife spend much of their free time attending their sons’ sporting events and Cub Scout activities. He enjoys swimming to stay in shape, as well as golf, fishing, watching movies and a good bottle of wine—not necessarily in that order.
Little known fact: Lil’ John Rinaldi, co-host of Cleveland’s iconic Big Chuck and Lil’ John Show, is Mike’s Uncle John.
